Refund policy

Our standard policy is: no returns or refunds on bicycles; eligible parts and accessories may be returned within 30 days for store credit with the original sales receipt; and items marked Clearance or Final Sale are final sale.

This policy applies to purchases made from Ziggy's Cycle & Sport Ltd. ("Ziggy's," "we," "us," or "our") in store and through ziggyscycle.ca.

Bicycles

All bicycle sales are final. We do not accept bicycle returns or provide bicycle refunds for change of mind, fit, size, colour, model, specification, or preference. Please work with our team before purchasing to confirm that the bicycle, size, intended use, and specifications are right for you.

If you need to cancel an online bicycle order before it has been prepared, transferred, specially ordered, assembled, or shipped, contact us immediately. We will review the request, but cancellation is not guaranteed.

Parts and Accessories

Eligible parts and accessories may be returned for store credit within 30 calendar days of purchase if all of the following conditions are met:

the original sales receipt or other proof of purchase from Ziggy's is provided;
the item is new, unused, unworn, uninstalled, unaltered, and in resalable condition;
all original packaging, manuals, tags, accessories, and components are included; and
the item is not listed below as a final-sale item.

Approved returns receive store credit for the eligible amount paid for the item, adjusted for discounts and taxes. Exchanges are normally handled by issuing store credit and applying it to a new purchase. Store credit is not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

Final-Sale Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind:

bicycles;
items marked Clearance or Final Sale;
special-order, custom-order, personalized, modified, or custom-cut items;
items that have been installed, used, worn, washed, damaged after purchase, or are missing original packaging or components;
labour, service, fitting, assembly, installation, delivery, and shipping charges once performed or incurred;
gift cards and store credit, except where required by law; and
opened consumable, hygiene, or safety-sensitive products that cannot reasonably be resold, including opened nutrition products or chemicals, worn helmets, and worn undergarments or base layers.

Online and Shipped Returns

Before sending anything back, contact us at info@ziggyscycle.ca or 519-893-2963 to request return authorization. Unauthorized or collect-on-delivery returns may be refused.

For an eligible change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the return shipping cost and for safely packaging the item. Original shipping and delivery charges are not credited. We recommend using a tracked and insured service because the item remains your responsibility until we receive and inspect it.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Items

A damaged, incorrect, or potentially defective item is not treated as a change-of-mind return. Contact us as soon as possible with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs where helpful. For shipping damage, please keep the product and all packaging while we review the claim.

If we shipped the wrong item or the item arrived damaged, we will work with you on an appropriate remedy and cover reasonable return shipping where a return is required. If a product may be defective, we may inspect it and may assist with the applicable manufacturer or distributor warranty. Warranty outcomes can include repair, replacement, parts, or another remedy depending on the product, the warranty, and applicable law.

Your Legal Rights

This policy governs voluntary returns and exchanges. It does not limit or exclude any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including rights that may apply to misrepresented products, incorrect goods, defective goods, or orders that are not delivered as required by applicable consumer protection law. Where this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the mandatory legal right applies.
